Laurel Hill Cemetery's natural beauty and serenity render it a bucolic retreat nestled within the city's limits, offering scenic views overlooking the Schuylkill River. The cemetery's beautiful green space is further complimented by the breathtaking art, sculpture and architecture that can be found here. These are just some of the many attributes that render historic Laurel Hill a perfect setting for numerous kinds of events, from picnics and dinners, to wedding receptions and conferences.
Both indoor and outdoor facilities are available for rental. The Friends Meetinghouse, a refurbished historic building that dates back to 1836, offers a kitchen and two adjoined rooms suitable for small functions. The cemetery also provides ample grounds space for larger outdoor festivities, to be used separately or in conjunction with an indoor rental.
Parties are responsible for reserving their own tent, catering, equipment and performance rentals, but Laurel Hill Cemetery can provide you with a list of recommended vendors. We are also able to provide the seating and tables required for small functions.
